BundleAward is an offline program for an estimator at a general contractor who already has confirmed scopes, package amounts, and exclusions. It finds the least expensive allowed combination that covers every required scope exactly once, including discounts that require several packages. It does not read quotations and it does not award a contract.

  7. On these typed rules the exact cover is the discounted pair at $49,500, which is lower than the combined alternative. That difference is arithmetic on this example, not a claimed saving from a real project.

What the download contains

You get one offline ZIP. Nothing is uploaded. Chromium is the tested browser. After a successful comparison you can export a CSV and a styled HTML report, and you can save or reload a portable JSON project file.

How you use it

  1. Unzip the folder on your machine. Internet access is not required after that. The shared heading font may fall back when you are offline.
  2. Open ui/index.html in Chromium.
  3. Enter the required scopes, each package and its amount, all-of discounts, and exclusions.
  4. Tick the confirmation box. The program will not calculate until you do.
  5. Calculate. A feasible exact cover returns the selected packages, the base amount, the discount trail, and the coverage of each scope.
  6. Save the project as JSON if you want to reopen it later. Export CSV and styled HTML only after a successful comparison.

Limits

  • Bounds18 packages, 40 scopes, 30 discounts, 50 exclusions. Every required scope must be covered exactly once.
  • Your amounts, not oursPrices are the snapshot amounts you type. The program does not fetch, scrape, or guess a market price.
  • All-of discountsA discount applies only when every package it names is selected. Discounts that all apply are added together. A feasible negative total is refused.
  • Unknown is not a winnerIf the search hits its time or evaluation cap, the result is unknown. That is not an optimum and not a proof that no cover exists.
  • No upload and no awardInputs stay on your machine. The program does not send bid files to us and does not award work.

Does this read my bid documents?

No. It does not read PDFs, scans, or emails. You type confirmed scopes, package amounts, discounts, and exclusions.

Does this award the contract?

No. It reports the lowest-cost exact cover of the lists you confirmed. A person still awards the work.
