Each source row represents a variant. Map the columns that identify the product, its title, SKU, price and weight, then declare any option columns. A product handle groups its variants; the same SKU cannot identify different rows. Prices use the decimal separator you select, and weights use the unit you declare. This pilot does not infer missing settings or convert currencies.
Handles must already use lowercase ASCII letters, digits and internal hyphens. Inputs are limited to 10,000 data rows, 100 columns and 4,096 characters per cell. Numeric strings may contain at most 24 characters; prices allow two fractional digits and weights allow twelve. All numeric fields use the declared decimal separator.
Review the mapping before processing a file with different column names. Conflicting variants or invalid values refuse the whole job. Unmapped fields are retained in the source record inside the ZIP; they are not automatically imported into Shopify as product fields.
The product CSV is accompanied by the preserved source rows, a row-by-row lineage record, warnings and a manifest with file hashes. Unzip the package, inspect the warnings, and review the product CSV before attempting an import. The generated products are drafts and unpublished. Existing product updates, variant identities, inventory, orders, images and metafields are outside this profile.
