Read this before anything else
This is a dated factual record, not legal advice. A hit means your exact marker appeared in a specific document at a specific time, and the marker existed before that capture. That is the whole of what it can say. It does not name who copied you, it does not say a model was trained on your work, and it does not tell you what to do next.
Paraphrase will not hit. The marker survives only if the copy keeps your words. A rewrite, a summary, or an answer engine that puts it in its own words will never emit the marker, so we will find nothing — even if they read every line.
A clean sweep is not a clean bill of health. Finding nothing means nothing was found in the places we looked. It is not a promise that nobody copied you. We will never present it as one.
There is no retroactive proof. A marker planted today can evidence a copy made tomorrow. It can never evidence a copy made yesterday. If the copying already happened, today is the earliest you can start.
What $175 actually buys
The founding pack is a collection of minted markers for named pieces of your content, sealed with the time they were issued. After you pay, a person emails you the markers. When a hit is proven, they email the evidence pack.
Minting on your own machine is free. The public file for each marker is a provenance certificate: owner, item, issue time, and a fingerprint (a hash) of the marker. The certificate never prints the marker itself. Publishing the marker would let anyone paste it onto a third-party page and fake a hit.
If you later want a weekly watch of pages you name, that is quoted at $49 per month in the email thread, not on the rail at the top of this page. That watch is not automated yet, and we are not fetching other people’s sites yet. Taking money for a live crawl without saying so is not on offer.
- What a hit provesYour exact marker appeared in a named document, captured at a named time, and the marker existed before that capture.
- What a hit does not proveWho copied it, why, or that a law was broken. Not legal advice.
- What we look atPages you name. Not the whole web. Not logins, apps, or private models.
A minted marker, as a public certificateprototype, local fixtures
This is an example from the prototype running on local fixtures, not a live-web read. The certificate below is the free artifact: it is safe to publish because it holds a fingerprint, not the marker. When a hit is later claimed, anyone can hash the revealed marker and check it matches.
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Owner | acme |
| Content | handbook-intro |
| Collection | acme-knowledge-base |
| Issued at | 2026-08-25T09:00:00+00:00 |

| Marker entropy | 160 bits (floor 128) |
A restart of the prototype reloaded 5 issued records from the sealed store and verified every seal. The certificate still does not contain the marker.
A proven-hit evidence packprototype, local fixtures
Same run. Three markers were planted in fixture pages. Two more were issued and never planted. The sweep also saw a checksum-broken look-alike and a well-formed outsider token. Only the three planted markers became hits. Issue time precedes observation on every hit. Observation is no later than the sweep.

Zero false positives from ambient prose, a foreign token, or a corrupted look-alike. This is a prototype on pages we made up. It is not a reading of the live web.
What this is not
- Not a plagiarism detector for rewritten text.Paraphrase will not hit.
- Not a clean bill of health.A clean sweep means nothing was found in the places we looked.
- Not proof of past copying.Markers only work forward from the day they are planted.
- Not legal advice, not a takedown, not a court filing. The pack is a dated record of fact. We do not say who is liable.
- Not a live crawl of the internet. The sample is local fixtures. We do not fetch other people’s sites until that switch is named and armed.
