KDP Lens is a browser extension. It reads the Amazon.com page already open in your tab so it can show observed book information and local search summaries. That page text stays on your machine. We do not send book titles, ranks, reviews, or any other page content to our servers.
License verification sends your key to our entitlement service when you verify it or when a saved key needs rechecking. That request goes to our entitlement service with the key string. It does not include Amazon page text, your KDP login, your name, or your email.
We do not create a KDP account for you. We do not log into Amazon as you. We do not sell browsing data. A free daily counter (10 pages) is stored in your browser with chrome.storage.local. A successful key check is cached there for up to 7 days so the extension still works if you are offline.
