What this page cannot tell you

  • We can only show a recall that changed if we happened to hold it on two different days. If the agency changed a status and changed it back between two of our reads, we never saw it.
  • We collected one thing: the food enforcement reports the US Food and Drug Administration publishes. No drug recalls, no medical device recalls, and nothing from any other agency.
  • Each read took the newest recalls the agency was listing, about 100 of them, not every recall it has ever posted. A recall that dropped off that list before our next read is not in here.
  • Our copies were taken about once a day, and 2 days brought back nothing. Between 23 Jun 2026 and 21 Aug 2026 there are 2 days with nothing sealed at all.
  • 45 rows came back with no recall number at all. They are left out of every count here, because rows with no number cannot be told apart from each other and any change they seem to show is two different recalls being mistaken for one.
