Energy and siting Pending air permits 263 rows held

Data centres waiting on a Texas air permit

Before a data centre can run its own generators it needs permission to put pollution into the air. 6 pending Texas applications say data centre in their own file name. We hold 44 dated copies of that list, so each one comes with the stage it started on, the stage it is on now, and the day our copy caught the move.

Newest sealed read: 2026-08-29. We hold a copy for 11 of the last 14 days. On 17 Aug 2026 our own collector ran and never asked for anything: a permission note it requires was missing. That was ours, not the state's, and why the note was missing we do not know. For 22 Aug 2026 and 30 Aug 2026 we hold nothing and the store records no reason at all: those are days we cannot account for. We hold 44 sealed runs going back to 2026-07-10.

What this page is263 rows held · newest sealed read 2026-08-29

  • On 29 Aug 2026 there were 6 air permit applications pending in Texas whose own facility or applicant name contains the words data centre. Every one of them is named in the table below.
  • 3 of the 6 changed stage inside the copies we hold. We seal this list on 11 of the last 14 days, so each of those is pinned to the day our copy first read differently -- which is the day it moved only if we sealed that day.
  • We hold 263 dated rows naming these applications, across 44 sealed copies from 10 Jul 2026 to 29 Aug 2026.
  • Every Texas row carries a link to the agency's own application paper, including these. Those links go in the file you buy.

Real rows out of our sealed copies

These are rows we read out of dated copies we keep ourselves. The live source shows today only, so once a row moves, what it said before is gone from the place you would go to look.

What this page cannot tell you

  • We find these by reading the agency's own words. An application counts only if the site name or the applicant name says data centre. A campus filed under a holding company or a plain site name is not on this page and we are not going to guess which ones those are.
  • Some of these are the temporary concrete plants that pour a data centre, not the data centre itself. The site name says which is which and we do not tidy that up — a batch plant named after the campus is often the earliest public sign the campus is real.
  • A pending air permit application is a request. It is not proof anything was built, and an application leaving the list is not proof one was granted.
  • There is no megawatt figure anywhere in this feed. An air permit application does not carry one, so printing one would mean making it up. Nothing on this page says how big any of these sites is.
  • This is the Texas list only. Arizona's file does not name a data centre on a single row we hold, and no other state's pending air list is in this feed.

See the file before you pay

You do not have to take our word for what is in the file. Here are 25 rows of the real thing, carrying all 12 of its columns, cut out of the dated copies we sealed ourselves. Nothing in it is made up and nothing in it is tidied up.

  • Open the 25 rows as a CSVA plain spreadsheet file. It saves to your machine rather than painting itself into a browser tab, and it opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
  • The same 25 rows as JSONThe same rows again, laid out for reading with code.

What arrives after you pay: a person emails you the whole file as a CSV — the same plain spreadsheet as the sample file above, not a login and not a web page — within one working day of your payment.

What you would be paying for: $79 a month, billed monthly, for dated diffs of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality pending New Source Review list only. Arizona is not in this file. Texas is read most days, not every day, and every missed day is named on the page. A row leaving the pending list is not an approval. There is no megawatt figure. Cancel any month by email, with no account to close and no notice period. After you pay, a person emails you the Texas pending-list what-moved file as a CSV within one working day, then a new one most weeks for as long as the subscription runs. Where a stretch has no new sealed copy, that week's file says so.

These 25 rows are a slice of the file, not the whole of it. What we cannot show you here is how far back it goes: that is the part you are paying for.

Rather ask first? Email operations@ustechautomations.com. Tell us the Texas counties or applicants in the first email. Texas is still being read, but not every day, and the page names each day we missed. Arizona is a closed set of dated copies and is not in the file you would pay for.
