Fifty-seven campuses on the frozen list, fifteen of them in Texas. Three of those fifteen are below. No megawatt figure for any campus is in that seal, so we print none. The only megawatt column here is the interconnection queue, and it is a county total, not a campus.

How to read these columns. The month announced is the only thing the campus seal carries beyond the name, the operator, the place and a status — there is no megawatt field in it at all, for any of the 57. Queue MW is a different seal: the interconnection queue we sealed on 30 Jul 2026, added up for every project in that US state and county. It is the county, not the campus, and none of it is necessarily that company’s.
Paid file is the repeating panel, not a one-campus study.
Doing this yourself
Siting notices sit in county agendas, utility filings and press pages that get reorganised and taken down. Nobody publishes a list of what changed this month.
To build this yourself you would have to watch each source on a schedule and keep a dated copy of every page, because the version that proves the change is the one that gets replaced.

What this page cannot tell you
No megawatt figure for any campus is in what we sealed. The frozen campus list carries a name, a place and the month it was announced, and no size at all. The only megawatt column anywhere on this page is the grid connection queue, and that is a county total for everything waiting to plug in, not a reading of any one campus.
A permit list is not a list of data centres. What we read is the Texas environment agency’s own list of air-permit applications waiting on a decision. Plenty of what is on it has nothing to do with computing, and a campus that needs no air permit never appears at all. That is why the sample file below is filtered rather than raw: a row only reaches it if the filing’s own text names a datacenter, and if the thing being permitted is not a supply plant — a concrete batch plant named after the datacenter it pours for is still a permit for a concrete plant.
An application dropping off is not a decision. The agency stops showing a row when it stops being pending and does not always say why. We can tell you it was on one dated copy and not on the next. We cannot tell you it was approved, refused or withdrawn, and we will not guess.

These 25 rows are a slice of the file, not the whole of it. We do not print the size of the whole file on this page, because this page is written by hand and the number would go stale the next night; the coverage page counts it fresh every night, list by list.
