SampleMap package contents
SFZ and DecentSampler definitions, metadata-stripped WAV files with their audio frames preserved unchanged, a region file listing every mapping, and an auditable record of how each asset was placed.
Supported scope
- Input is a ZIP of a manifest plus up to 128 original declared WAV assets with explicit regions.
- Supports mono or stereo integer PCM audio at 16, 24, or 32 bit; notes 1 to 127; velocities 1 to 127; explicit loops; and complete round-robin groups.
- Covers exactly the note and velocity ranges you declare, no more.
- No automatic transcription, pitch detection, tuning, denoising, or judgement of musical quality; no rights verification — you confirm you hold the rights.
- Free and low-cost tools for this exist; this is a convenience, not a necessity.

No. It maps exactly the notes and velocities you declare. There is no transcription, pitch detection, or tuning.
Do you check I own the samples?
No. You confirm you hold the rights. There is no rights verification.
Are there cheaper ways to do this?
Yes. Free and low-cost tools exist for building SFZ and DecentSampler libraries; this tool just automates the packaging from your declared manifest.
