Arizona air permit applications, with the water and waste rows dropped

Arizona mixes air, water and waste permits into one in-progress file. We keep only the rows the state itself files under air — 86 of the 226 on our 13 Aug 2026 copy — and show what moved against the copy we sealed on 23 Jul 2026.

Newest sealed read: 2026-08-13. We are not reading this source now. We hold 33 copies of it, covering 33 of the 35 days from 10 Jul 2026 to 13 Aug 2026. We hold 33 sealed runs going back to 2026-07-10. Collection has paused on this list. Three separate things happened here, in this order, and only the last of them was a decision about permission. Our newest copy of this list is 13 Aug 2026. Then, from 14 Aug 2026 to 17 Aug 2026, our own collector ran and asked the state for nothing at all: a permission note it requires was missing, so it stopped before it fetched anything. 9 runs went by over those 4 days, every one of them recorded as a success, and not one of them opened a connection. That was ours, not the state's. Why the note was missing we do not know, and we are not going to make a reason up to fill the hole. On 21 Aug 2026 we reviewed whether we could evidence permission to keep reading this source, could not, and refused it -- 8 days after the last copy above, not on the day of it. The refusal is real and it stands. It is not what started the gap. This is not a list that is running late and will catch up. It starts again if ADEQ publishes a licence on the ArcGIS item, and not before. We look at that again on 19 Nov 2026.

What this page is2,723 rows held · newest sealed read 2026-08-13

  • This page is not part of the subscription. The paid file is Texas only. Arizona is a closed set of dated copies we still show, and it is not in the file you would pay for.
  • Arizona publishes every environmental permit it is working on in one file. On 13 Aug 2026 that file held 226 rows and only 86 of them are air permits. We drop the other 140 rather than count a sewage plant as a smokestack.
  • 6 named air applications are on our 13 Aug 2026 copy and were not on the 23 Jul 2026 one. Another 16 read with a different stage.
  • We hold 33 sealed copies of the Arizona file, from 10 Jul 2026 to 13 Aug 2026, and 2,723 dated air rows across them.

Real rows out of our sealed copies

These are rows we read out of dated copies we keep ourselves. The live source shows today only, so once a row moves, what it said before is gone from the place you would go to look.

What this page cannot tell you

  • Maricopa County and Pima County run their own air permit offices, so most air permits in Phoenix and Tucson are issued by the county and never reach the state list this page reads. If you are watching Phoenix, this page does not cover it. Not one of the 2,723 Arizona air rows we hold is in Maricopa County. 5 rows on the newest copy are in Pima County: those are the sources the state still handles itself.
  • This is the state's own in-progress file and nothing else. A row keeps its final wording for a while and then stops being listed, so an air permit the state finished with months ago is not here, and neither is any permit a county issued.
  • An application leaving the in-progress file is not proof a permit was issued. It can mean granted, withdrawn, or simply that the state stopped listing it, and the file never says which.
  • Arizona does not publish a link to the paperwork on any row. Not one of the 2,723 air rows we hold carries one, so there is no document column on this page.
  • There is no megawatt figure anywhere in this feed. An air permit application does not carry one, so printing one would mean making it up.
  • The series has holes. Between 23 Jul 2026 and 13 Aug 2026 there is 1 day we hold no sealed copy for. Anything that moved and moved back inside a hole is a change we never saw.

See the file before you pay

You do not have to take our word for what is in the file. Here are 25 rows of the real thing, carrying all 12 of its columns, cut out of the dated copies we sealed ourselves. Nothing in it is made up and nothing in it is tidied up.

  • Open the 25 rows as a CSVA plain spreadsheet file. It saves to your machine rather than painting itself into a browser tab, and it opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
  • The same 25 rows as JSONThe same rows again, laid out for reading with code.

What arrives after you pay: a person emails you the whole file as a CSV — the same plain spreadsheet as the sample file above, not a login and not a web page — within one working day of your payment.

What you would be paying for: $79 a month, billed monthly, for dated diffs of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality pending New Source Review list only. Arizona is not in this file. Texas is read most days, not every day, and every missed day is named on the page. A row leaving the pending list is not an approval. There is no megawatt figure. Source is the TCEQ pending New Source Review list, public domain unless otherwise noted. We do not charge anyone to open TCEQ's own page, and we do not use the TCEQ logo. Cancel any month by email, with no account to close and no notice period. After you pay, a person emails you the Texas pending-list what-moved file as a CSV within one working day, then a new one most weeks for as long as the subscription runs. Where a stretch has no new sealed copy, that week's file says so.

These 25 rows are a slice of the file, not the whole of it. What we cannot show you here is how far back it goes: that is the part you are paying for.
