• We hold 30 dated copies of the SPP file, the first from 11 Jun 2026 and the newest from 29 Aug 2026, and 30,404 dated project rows inside them. The newest copy lists 1,027 projects. Where those projects sit, by count: Oklahoma 315, Kansas 182, Nebraska 117, Texas 109, Colorado 80.
• 5 projects in the SPP queue moved between our newest copy and the newest copy at least a week older than it (22 Aug 2026 → 29 Aug 2026). We do not answer this with our last two copies any more: the newest two we hold are SPP 1 day apart, and finding nothing over one day is much weaker evidence than finding nothing over a week.
• One day we asked and came back with nothing usable: on 13 Aug 2026 the file came back at only 4,880 bytes, far short of a full list, with no projects in it. We sealed no copy for that day, so it is skipped rather than compared against, and the rows either side of it are compared to each other.
• Worth knowing before you build this yourself: we hold 30 dated copies of the SPP file, so there are 29 gaps between them. The file itself came back different across 22 of those gaps, but a project had actually moved in only 19. Saving the files is the easy half. Telling which projects moved is the work.

What this page cannot tell you

• SPP publishes no plant name at all. Every SPP row here is a number the operator itself uses — the queue number, like GEN-2024-340. The name column is empty on 826 of the 1,027 rows in its newest copy, and on the other 201 it holds a second study number rather than a name. Both numbers travel in the file you buy. We do not invent a name for a row that has none.
• The operators write the same fuel differently — Solar, SOL, SUN and S all appear for the same thing. The fuel column is our reading of their labels, not their own count, and a label we are not sure of is shown as not clear rather than guessed at.
• A move here means two dated copies of the same public file disagree. It is not a decision, an approval, or a filing.
