Every offer visit stamps its path, archetype, data type, geography, source, referrer and CTA. At the checkout hop, a PII-free reference joins proof → touch → CTA → checkout → payment without putting an email address or IP address in the URL.
What the contract proves
The offer catalog below is the source of each product's fixed path, classification and primary CTA identity. The request itself supplies the source and referrer labels; the referrer's query string is discarded before storage. A missing referrer is recorded as direct, not guessed to be search traffic. A checkout reference is created only after the matching touchpoint and CTA click have been stored.
The payment reader treats that reference as a join key, never as proof by itself. It reads the attribution ledger without changing it and requires the touchpoint, CTA, offer identity and catalog taxonomy to agree before a payment can be counted as a complete path. A malformed reference, a missing CTA row or a changed class is rejected before the payment ledger is written. Existing payments are not backfilled with correlations the system did not observe.
One-time Stripe checkout events can be reconciled through this attribution contract. Recurring settlement remains webhook-specific and is not claimed complete here.

Its own feed returns superseded versions on request, so the thing this service sold -- what the public record said on an earlier date -- was already available from the source at no cost.
